FOCUS sources against your specification or part number, confirms the documents you need and arranges export.
We are best suited to specific, repeatable requirements — a part number, a JIS grade, a drawing — rather than commodity spot trading.

What we check
- Mill test certificates, certificates of origin and other documents your customer or customs will require.
- Equivalence between JIS and your local standard, where you need it.
- Export controls under Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, which apply to some materials, machine tools and components.
- Packing and shipping method for heavy or long items.
How a sourcing request works

We confirm the fit
Within one to two business days we tell you whether we can pursue it, and what else we need.
Supplier search and quotation
We contact suppliers in Japanese and return a quotation with product, Japanese costs and freight shown separately. Typically one to three weeks.
Order, inspection and shipping
Payment and delivery terms are agreed in writing first. We then order, check the goods, prepare export documents and ship.
